If the live view option is enabled from a camera during configuration, you can view a camera's live feed in the Phoenix RSM Live Viewer Multi-Window.
View a Live Feed from a Camera
Unlike the original Live Viewer, camera ports are not displayed when the application is first launched. Follow these steps to open up a new viewer and view live camera feeds.
|1.||Open the Live Viewer Multi-Window application. The Control Center window opens.|
|2.||Select View from the toolbar and choose New Viewer from the drop-down menu to open a viewer window. The viewer displays four camera ports. This layout can be changed. See Live Viewer Multi-Window Viewer Layout. The Title bar for each camera port reads "Not in Use" as no cameras have been selected.|
|3.||Expand the Cameras folder in the left pane of the Control Center window. The names of live view enabled cameras are displayed.|
Live viewing from a VMS camera is not supported.
|4.||Select the camera feed to view and drag it into a camera port on the viewer window. The camera's live feed is displayed, and the camera name is displayed in the Title bar of the camera port.|
|5.||To view the feed from additional cameras, repeat the steps above.|
To move one live feed to a different camera port, click the blank space in the title bar next to the camera name and drag to the new camera port.
Double click the blank space in the title bar next to the camera name to make that camera feed fit the full size of the viewer window. Minimize the view by double clicking on the title bar.
Right click on the blank space in the title bar next to the camera name to display a drop-down menu. The menu lists the Camera Controls, Select, and Close.
