Use the Digital Evidence Manager Web UI Preferences to define default settings.

Access the Digital Evidence Manager Web UI Preferences by clicking on the Preferences button located on the bottom left of the Search Results pane.

Element

Description

Playback

Choose if playback will display the Low Res or Full Res video.

View

Details - Search results will display file details along with the thumbnail.

Thumbnail - Search results will only display the name along with the thumbnail of the file.

Sort Field

Choose how the search results will be sorted.

Filename

Pathname

File Type

Time Modified

Time Stored

Size

Owner

Host

Sort Order

Choose if the results will show in ascending or descending order.

Embedded Player

Choose from HTML or VLC.

Display Name

Select the name that will be displayed with the thumbnail. For example, if chosen to display Officer Name, the name of the officer will display above each file.

If the chosen display name is not available, the file name will be displayed.

24-hour Format

When creating search criteria involving date and time, the time can be in 12-hour or 24-hour format. Check the check box for 24-hour format.

Once the selections are made, the page will refresh with the new preferences.
