Protocol (RTP) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) that allows for the direct video feed capture
from IP-based video surveillance cameras. The Phoenix RSM Record, Store, and Manage Surveillance
Video Management solution sets a new industry standard for supporting the needs of the growing
forensics-based video surveillance market.
Phoenix RSM can utilize RTP and RTSP IP cameras to directly capture, manage, and store IP-based
video camera feeds. This capability enables the recording and playback, using QuickTime or VLC,
of live video generated from supported IP cameras. This functionality also provides for a low
cost forensic approach to video surveillance management.
RTSP enabled IP cameras enable users to easily and quickly connect and begin recording video
feeds. SoleraTec's Phoenix RSM is ideally suited to take advantage of this protocol.
Phoenix RSM supports a wide variety of IP cameras. Since RTSP URLs are not standardized, we help
camera manufacturers support end users by providing this matrix of IP Camera manufacturer's RTSP
